INTRODUCTION TO INNOVATION, ENTREPRENEURSHIP & VENTURE DEVELOPMENT (IEVD01)
Course Objectives
- To make students aware of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship ecosystem in India and Globally
- Create the awareness of the role of Incubators in promoting Innovation and Entrepreneurship
- To promote the students for exploring ‘Entrepreneurship as a career choice’ and become the first-generation entrepreneurs
- To develop rational and analytical skills thereby developing Problem solving mindset
Key Learning Outcomes
- An ability to identify/articulate the problem and develop an approach for solution
- Undergo the process of Idea generation, Application of Design Thinking principles, Develop a proof-of-concept (PoC), prototype and Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
- Ability to develop Business Plan, Model and Go To Market Strategy
- Ability to pitch to investors.5-10% of the students should build the sustainable business ventures
